Hello and Welcome to Arabella Bouquets!
We’re excited to help you get the most out of your beautiful new bouquet. By following these simple steps, you’ll be able to extend the life of your flowers and enjoy their beauty for as long as possible. After mastering these tips, you'll be a flower care expert!

Step 1: Cut Each Stem at a 45-Degree Angle
When your bouquet arrives, it may look a little thirsty after its journey—don’t worry, we can fix that! To ensure each stem gets properly hydrated, cut each one at a 45-degree angle. You might wonder why the angle matters. Cutting the stems this way prevents them from sitting flat at the bottom of the vase, which can make it harder for the flowers to absorb water. Angled cuts allow the stems to drink up more water and stay fresh longer.

Step 2: Fill Your Vase Halfway with Warm Water and Add Flower Food
Once you’ve trimmed the stems, it’s time to rehydrate the flowers! Fill your vase halfway with lukewarm water. The warmth will help your flowers bloom more quickly than cold water. After filling the vase, add half of the flower food packet and stir the water gently with a spoon. Flower food acts as a boost, helping the veins in the stems expand to circulate water throughout the bouquet. Don’t forget to repeat this process after 48 hours—replace the water with fresh water and add the remaining flower food.

Step 3: Place Your Bouquet in the Vase and Enjoy
Now that your flowers are properly prepared, place them in the vase and let them shine! In 48-72 hours, you’ll see your blooms start to open, and they’ll continue to brighten up your space each day. Enjoy the beauty and joy your bouquet brings to any room!
By following these easy steps, you’ll help your bouquet stay fresh and beautiful for days to come. Happy flower care from Arabella Bouquets!
